When you wish to up the pace, Belper and Derby are both convenient for good shops, cinemas, restaurants and bars. 

For those who enjoy the great outdoors, a short drive will take you into the heart of the spectacular Peak District National Park. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the country and the perfect place from which to enjoy a day out, with popular tourist spots just a short distance away. Getting out and about is easy with the A6, A38 and M1 all close by, while Derby train station offers regular services further afield.
